Tapestry Women

"I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God's great mystery." Colossians 2:2 (The Message)

T- Thread... Tapestry Women acknowledge that each of us is unique - our stages of life, our gifting, our personalities- but each distinct thread makes the whole design more beautiful as we live in relationship with one another. Our purpose is to display Christ, as He masterfully interweaves us according to His design. (Rom. 12:4; Eccles. 4:12; 1 Cor. 12:4)

L-Love... Tapestry Women are designed to serve together to show the love of Christ to each other and the world using our hearts, hands, and gifts God gave us to benefit others. Our loving labors makes things more beautiful through tangible Kingdom work and ultimately by spreading an intricate net for others to experience the love of Christ. (Rom. 12-6-8; 1 John 3:18; Matt 4:19)

C-Change... Tapestry Women are seeking to be changed to be more like Christ. Christ's love propels us to invest in spiritual growth by studying God's word, engaging in worship, praying with one another, and taking time to refine each other. Christ's love is made visible by the change we embody as we allow Him to weave us together and into the world around us. (Rom. 12:2; Rev 21:5; Col 3:16)
